“Amelie Poulain Plays Korg DS”, a chiptune cover of Yann Tiersen’s “Comptine D’un Autre Ete”, arranged by J8bit.
Amelie is one of the three films tied in my rankings for “favorite movie of all time”, right up there with Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Let The Right One In, so I really wish there were more chiptune covers of its soundtrack. Bitmuch created this Amelie remix last year that starts off great, but there’s some annoying (IMO) reggae vocals that cut in after a minute.
Anyway, this sounds great and reminds me that I really need to spend some time with Korg DS-10 Plus.
